Concert

The kids had a Christmas concert at the same local nursing home. Cherri Bornman is the one that coordinates all of this and teaches the kids, and her grandmother is there. All the residents enjoyed the music. Damaris sang in the choir and both of the kids played the piano.  It was really nice, even though I only took one picture!

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving with the Wallinga side was small this year...only one set of my aunts and uncles, my parents, my cousin and her family, and us. So I broke out my Hilltop samples and the girls did face masks!! :)

Baby Dedication

Junia's baby dedication was this morning, so we went up Saturday and stayed the night so we could go to church with Dan and Kara. Here are a few pictures...my camera died half way through :(

I found this sign and new I had to buy it because that has kind of been Junia's nickname! So I painted it and blinged it out, and was happy with the finished product...because I am NOT crafty at all :)

These are crappy pictures because of having to take them on my phone instead of my good camera, but at least we got a few pictures!

 Dr. Jim Lo did her baby dedication at their church, and he did a great job talking about the meaning behind the name Junia and the significance it had in the Bible and the person Junia was to the early church!

Fury about gave me a heart attack...this is a very tall chair! I immediately moved it so that he couldn't fall.

He is so sweet!  He RARELY just wants to be held, so this is actually an impressive picture :)

Sports Banquets

Damaris had her cheer leading banquet on the 6th, and Titus's cross country banquet was earlier tonight.  It was a busy but really good fall, and it was fun having the kids enjoy running. Damaris actually dropped 5 minutes off of her time from the start of the season!! 

Titus has a lot of natural talent...now he just needs to learn how to push! I think he will become a GREAT runner.  It was a great first start to running, and he is looking forward to running again next fall!

Concert

Damaris has been busy this fall! In addition to cheer leading and run club, she is also in a choir! Here are some pictures of her first concert, which was earlier today at a local nursing home!

"Trunk or Treat"

Our church did a "Trunk or Treat" event but instead of decorating the trucks of our cars and being outside, we decorated tables inside. I had to take pictures of everyone's tables because people were so creative and there were some fun ones!!
