Damaris is still not crawling (not even army style)...but we can tell she would love to :) She continues to do random, funny things that just crack us up. Apparently she cracks her self up as you can see in the picture on the right.

Titus was asking the other day to go camping...which obviously we can't with it being so cold. So one day Stephen put up our tent for him and he LOVED it! He wanted to play inside all night :)

Titus likes to give rides to Damaris...and can't leave her alone if she is riding by herself :)

We tried to put clips in her hair...but her hair is so fine and thin, it doesn't really work very well yet :)

Titus still fights eating - so new tactic...sit there until you eat your food...only this time it backfired, because he fell asleep instead of eating!!

Peek-a-boo!
This isn't the greatest video, but it is a video of Damaris babbling...I have no idea what she was looking at in the middle of the video, but apparently it was more interesting than the camera :)

I took this picture on my way in to the office. I am not a photographer, but it was just so pretty this morning - lots of fluffy snow, no wind so it was on every branch, and it wasn't too cold. This is what I miss most about Michigan...Indiana just very rarely has days like this!! Even though it didn't stay like this all day, it was such a nice change from the dreary, cold, no snow days we have had lately...
In other news, I have been praying specifically the past two weeks for God to show us ways to cut back some of our payments. On Saturday we were talking to the bank, and we were able to cut 6 months off our truck loan and get a 2% reduction in the interest rate - this does not lower our payments, but it definitely will make a HUGE difference in the end.
The second door He has opened is one Stephen and I swore we would never go through...we bought a used van and got rid of our vibe. BUT, two kids later, needing more room, lower payments, and decent gas mileage, here we are:
(Even though we are not thrilled with having a van, we really do love it, and best of all, if I had to pick a color, it would be the one we have.)
Love the new post Michelle! I've been wondering how you guys are doing. Damaris is sooo cute...and so is Titus :) They look they have lots of fun together. Congrats on your success with the bank! A few less payments and lower interest is awesome. God is SO good!!! And your new van looks really nice. I'm sure the extra room will be wonderful!
ReplyDeleteCute, cute pictures! (and video!) Congrats on the van...I bet it's nice to have all that room! :)
ReplyDeleteAww...your kids are absolutely adorable! I can't believe how fast they are growing. I bet it's a lot of fun and keeps you and Stephen quite busy. Glad to see things are going well and still relying on HIM completely. Thanks for keeping in touch! :)
