Sloan Wedding

Chris Sloan & Kathleen Moody were really involved in our church this last year, and we had a lot of fun getting to know them! They got married this last weekend, and are going to Haiti at the beginning of August to serve as missionaries for 8 months before Chris goes to med school. David and Dena went with us to their wedding in Chicago, and we had a lot of fun!

This cake had the best tasting frosting I have ever had. Ever. It was kind of like a butter cream, but fluffy and soft, and not too rich. Amazing.


Another thing that was fun was that part of Stephen's family was there because his Aunt Bonnie is a Sloan, so she is Chris's aunt as well. So we are not related to Chris, but have similar relatives. :)
