I love listening to Titus pray before he goes to sleep...
Sometimes it is all I can do to not laugh! :) And sometimes he makes no sense - like in this video when he says he loves corn - he hates it - probably more than any other vegetable! And when he talks about dying - I have no idea where he comes up with this stuff!! :)
In this video he talks about farm things, which wouldn't make sense to you, but earlier that day we went to a family's house from our church that has a farm, and he saw all the animals he thanks God for in his prayer. You can also hear him talking about Phoebe and Nahum, his dog and fish - the dog we had to get rid of (who is a girl by the way, and never had puppies, more things I have no idea what he is talking about) and the fish is the one that died because of the incident this spring (click here if you missed that one...). He asks almost every day about getting another dog and fish...
But mostly I just love listening because he just talks to God like He is sitting right there, and tells Him about his day.
He is too cute :)
(this is all black because I just wanted the audio...I didn't want him to see the camera and not pray like he normally does)
Next up is Damaris...she is also pretty cute to listen to pray!! :)
(PS...David and Dena, she prayed for you last night...)

That is too precious!
Michelle- Thanks for your comments! They are so encouraging! I would love to talk to Stephen about this. I have talked to my Dad a few times, and we get wrapped up in semantics-... it seems like everyone is saying the same thing, but they say it differently...and somehow- people interpret it wrongly. That is my fear- is that wonderful things will get lost in translation. I think Holiness is a major component- and i like what you said- about how it lines up the train- because I agree... I think some Christians have put it in an awkward spot- or have misinterpreted it- made it into something that takes the freedom that Christ wanted to give us- and kind of cages it. I will have to check out that book...that is something I am delving into right now, so it would be great.
Titus is adorable by the way-
You and Stephen make wonderful munchkins!
I bless BARNS....too!
this is too cute :)
Children's prayers are the sweetest and cutest things ever!!
Oh drat, I can't listen to it right now since my volume is off while Kris is sleeping - I'll try to remember to come back - but your description gave me a pretty good idea of what a sweet child you have! Such a wonderful reminder for us to be like little children :)
Ohhhhh I loved hearing that!!! How wonderful to hear someone soo young pray and pray for long time!!:) That is something to cherish!!
This was an incredible prayer that should definitely go in a liturgy book somewhere... blessing barns was my favorite part. Thanks for posting it. :-)
We just caught up with the blog some tonight. LOTS of great pictures! Miss you guys, but hope you made it safely back today.
