I am Sick of Being Sick...

I started feeling funny Friday night, and just thought I was getting a migrane, which I started getting when I was pregnant with Damaris. Anyway, so that is why I didn't think too much about it. Well, that night I just tossed and turned, feeling worse and worse, and wouldn't you know that I had a fever - which explained a lot. Thankfully not a very high one, but enough to make you feel miserable. And I am REALLY congested - I feel like my head is 10 pounds heavier, but thankfully not a runny nose (or is that a bad thing??).

Well, it is now Monday, and I STILL have a fever. And I am still congested. And now my ears are starting to hurt. And my throat feels like it is half the size. I am worn out and tired. I have a constant headache. Should I just keep loading up on Vitamin C and water?? Should I go to the doctor? But we haven't found doctors up here yet, because why would we find doctors just to switch once we have new insurance?!?

I am sick of being sick.

I really don't know how I even caught something. I haven't gone out other than Thursday night for a Philips Craig and Dean concert (which I will post pictures of when I am feeling up to it). And at the concert, I didn't touch anyone or anything! I had been at home the entire rest of the week! I thought I may have gotten it from our sitter who was sick Thursday, but I have different symptoms. THANKFULLY no one else has gotten this nasty bug....yet.

The worst part of the whole thing is that I missed out on Christmas with my family and Christmas with my mom's side of the family, which I was REALLY looking forward do, AND the kids' very first Christmas play!! I was so bummed. But Stephen took pictures, so when I am feeling up to that, maybe I can post pictures of that too.

Well, I should probably go get some MORE rest...because typing and reading is making my head hurt more...

I hope I am better by Christmas at least...

OK...I am done complaining now...I promise. :)

It sounds like you may have a sinus infection. I had one of those a couple months ago with the same symptoms--congestion, headache, fever. I went to the doctor and they gave me some stuff to take but also told me to take Sudafed. That seemed to help me more than anything. Hope you feel better soon--being sick sucks, but it's even worse around the holidays!! :(
