Pictures...finally!

As I was writing and posting this week's contentment lesson, after I posted it I realized that the title was so similar (#2 instead of a #1), most people probably wouldn't realize I had actually posted! Well, I meant to get pictures up in between, but between the kids and activities, taxes and applying for jobs, checking my email and keeping up on OTHER people's blogs, I have neglected my own :) All that to say, check out my second week contentment post below if you missed it, and watch out for pictures in the next couple days...we have had a lot going on! :) :)

Here are a few pictures to get you started...

Our attempts at a family picture...these were the best two we had :)

I just thought these next few pictures were cute with the kids watching a movie on Stephen's computer so he could play a video game on the Wii :) :)

This year for Valentines Day the ladies in the church hosted a Valentine's Progressive Dinner for couples or individuals that wanted to participate. We had to much fun!! Plus it was good to get to know people a little better, especially for me since I don't get much of a chance for that compared to Stephen.

We each got a pair of "socks" or "booties" to put over our shoes at each house. Stephen decided he had a better idea for his :) :)

We ended back at the church and as we were waiting for our comedian (DVD :) ), Cornelius showed us one of his many talents - being able to balance just about anything (he has even done tables) on his chin. Pretty impressive, I thought!

Afterward we had dessert and prizes. Stephen and I won several for various reasons, along with many others. Some of the prizes we won were for showing affection at some point during the evening, having a good nickname for each other - I call Stephen "Stinky" and they thought that was funny :), we won a prize for something else that I can't remember right now, and there was a prize for having the best story for your proposal, but they gave us a prize for having the worst story (Stephen didn't propose...and no, I didn't propose to him...long story short - we knew we were going to marry each other, so one night at Pizza Hut we just set a date...I know, lame, but neither one of us are real romantic. Plus I didn't wear a ring until we actually got married, so what would Stephen have proposed with??? Anyway, that's just how it went down - the short version :) ).

All in all, I think a fun night was had by everyone :)

More pictures coming soon...
