For the very first time in my whole life, I spent this week ALONE. I know...pathetic. But I got married between my Junior and Senior year in college and then two years later had kids, so I have never been truly alone in my whole life, other than for a few hours.
At first I was apprehensive and worried I would get lonely...but that quickly turned into excitement...I could do whatever I wanted whenever I wanted to!! I didn't have to think about the kids, or Stephen, or anyone (OK, the dog is here, so I suppose that counts as something to take care of and think about!).
And although if I was single, unless I was intentional about how I was living, this could become a very selfish life...I still have enjoyed the past few days!!
It will be good to see Stephen and the kids again, but for now, I am just going to enjoy these last few moments to MYSELF :) :)

Wow.... I just can't imagine. I get excited when I get to go to Walmart by myself...just for regular groceries! I hope you really enjoyed yourself, and I hope you have a sweet reunion with your family!
wow, what would I do? scrapbook, clean, go out to eat, watch movies, read, go for a walk!!! The list is long.

I would so love to have the time alone. I would have so many things that I wanted to do, and might end up not doing it all because I would not know where to start.
