So the new house has a hot tub in the master bathroom upstairs...but a person should never start to fill it and go outside...because it is easy to forget all about it. Ask Stephen...he found out the hard way :) :)
Just two weeks into our new house and we already have to make an insurance claim (which I suppose in 8 years of marriage, and owning vehicles and one other house several years ago, is really very good). CRAZY. But, we have a lot to be thankful for...like only the linoleum in the master bathroom and main floor bathroom have to be taken out and redone. And of course all the trim has to be put back and holes patched. But after three days of air movers and dehumidifiers on three levels (yes, we had tons of water all the way in the basement too), we are in the clear.

The air movers
Holes had to be put in the main floor ceiling to try to dry out the floor upstairs from the underneath.
Too bad it didn't ruin the carpet, too...it would have been nice to replace the blue with something a little more neutral :)
Thankfully most of the water went straight down...otherwise we would have had a LOT more damage. The people kept saying over and over how lucky we were.
Let's not do this again, OK?!? :) :) :)
I LOVE YOU STEPHEN!!!!!
(a marriage is so much more important than a house, and our lives are so temporary and fleeting here on earth...so God really taught me to not sweat the small stuff through this whole experience! Perspectives on a situation can make a huge difference!)

Awww.. I'm glad that everything worked out, but that must have been stressful!
So when do we get a photo tour of the new house? :)
great attitude, I am not sure if I could have been so positive.
Glad it wasn't worse. Aunt Linda Mowat
