Meeting with our Chairman and CEO

It has been REALLY crazy at work getting ready for the chairman and CEO of our company (a HUGE deal around here), Maggie Wilderotter, to visit our area last week Thursday. And I got the "joy" of making arrangements and helping out for TWO of her three visits because I assist the Alpena GM (sooooo thankful I didn't have to go up there in person for the coordination and meeting!) as well as our central GM (where I work, here in Mt Pleasant). The day went really well, but I am SO glad that it is over!!!!!!!!

We had to have our meeting at the Soaring Eagle Casino...which we weren't thrilled about but we didn't have a choice. Not having clocks anywhere around and it smelling like smoke was driving me crazy, but they really were great to work with and had nice facilities. Here is our first meeting that I coordinated, which was a continental breakfast with our employees.

Here is me sitting at the table handing out name tags to the techs. Sue is the other person that works in our office - she is the one standing by me in the brown suit. She is really nice and I like working with her.

This isn't a great picture, but Todd on the left is my boss and is the General Manager for our central area. He is AWESOME to work with. Bob is our Area General Manager and has four general managers that report to him. I help out three of those four.

Waiting to begin the meeting...

Getting food and chatting

These are the four Technical Managers that report up to Todd. I help them too. They are all really great to work with!

We also had a VIP luncheon with local customers, government officials, etc.

Overall it was a great day!
