House Pictures

We have been very busy the last several months fixing our bathrooms and painting...so I thought it was time for some pictures :) :)

This isn't anything we did around the house, but I wanted to include this while I was posting pictures of our house. This is an early anniversary present from my mom and dad. My mom made this quilt for us, and I LOVE it!!!! She does SUCH a good job!

Pictures just don't do it justice...

Now, for things we have worked on around the house...

I don't know if I mentioned this before, but ALL of the walls in our house were either white or white tones and haven't been painted since it was built 12 years ago...and 90% of the walls were a pinkish white color - yuck! I don't have before pictures...just after...but I think you will get the picture.

Here is a picture of our kitchen. I love how it turned out!!

While I was washing everything down, I noticed how NASTY the tops of the cupboards were...like packed on there, greasy, scrub until I thought my arm was going to break off...disgusting. So I had to show a picture of that too...

I found out my cupboards were actually white on top! :)

It was crazy hard to get this off, it was so caked on there.

Here are pictures of our master bathroom. We took out the notorious hot tub that caused the flood all the way from the top floor to the basement...and decided to put in a jacuzzi instead. We LOVE it. And I love the colors. But I know these are kind of hard to see...sorry!

Stephen did all the flooring himself. He did such a great job!!

I got a STEAL on this mirror. I love it.

Still need to figure out something big for the wall above the jacuzzi. To the left there is a screen door and a little deck area. I didn't get any pictures of that.

This is our main bathroom. I was hesitant to paint orange, but I LOVE how it turned out. Again, pictures don't really show the color, but it is close, I guess. I think in real life it looks warmer than in these pictures.

Same floor as upstairs, and again Stephen laid the tiles. I love it.

I bought these from my friend Jamie who made these. I wish I could get a better picture, because they look awesome!!!!!

I also painted out dining room and living room (still finalizing the living room, so those pictures will have to wait). I was VERY disappointed in the color as I got going, but once it was done and everything put back, it has really grown on me. I really like it now!!!

I just love that our house has color now!!! It makes me want to keep going, but there is so much. I think it makes the house really come alive and look even nicer than I thought it looked already!

It looks great. Our downstairs half bath is orangish, sort of burnt color and we were a little nervous. Its only paint an dtiem so why not go for it! Stephen did an awesome job on the floors.
