Painting

This past weekend I tackled another one of the many painting projects in our house...the stairway to the top floor. I was not sure I was going to survive painting our stairway...I don't like ladders, and I definitely do not like heights...so there I was in a sweat, shaking, dizzy, sick to my stomach, and yet too cheap to hire someone. And to make matters worse, there were spiders everywhere from the ladders being outside. I had to take several breaks and lots of deep breaths!!

I am very happy with the finished product, especially next to our hallway color, although I think I would have liked it a little lighter. I love the color though...which is good because next up is the stairway to the basement (not nearly as scary as this one, thankfully) and the basement hallway. I love seeing all this color! No more nasty pinkish-white walls - FINALLY!!
