October was been a slow month for pictures...which means I don't post as often :) But here are some pictures from Halloween!
To us, Halloween is just a fun holiday where the kids dress up and get candy - it's never been a big deal to us, because we don't celebrate or do anything with the "bad/evil" stuff. The elementary school has a fun tradition, too - a parade through town. This was my first year being able to go, and I was glad that I could! The parade was moved inside due to the rain and snow, which I was more than OK with ;)
Damaris with her class
Her teacher was Ms. Frizzle, which I thought was super creative!
Titus was so ninja-like that I completely didn't see him and had to yell his name to turn around for a picture - ha!
Taking his costume very seriously...
And, Damaris not so serious ;)
Ready to fight!
We of course went to the church for our annual Harvest Party. It is soooo nice to be indoors and playing games - especially on a very cold, windy night like this year was!
Owen is Titus's best friend...and so I wasn't surprised that Titus asked to be a ninja again this year when I saw that Owen was a ninja, too :)
Tara is so creative...she was Ursula and her daughter was Ariel :)
And Charlotte kept asking me and asking me to take her picture - she would then immediately plop down on the ground and start posing. It was so cute!!!!
On our way back we hit up some houses near ours - the kids had a TON of candy by the time we got home! But the "Switch Witch" was a huge hit last year and the kids wanted to do it again...so they switched out their candy for something fun. I love getting rid of all that junk food - and even more so because they are excited to do it!!!!
