4th Annual Mowat Christmas Party

Stephen and I still struggle with creating our own family Christmas traditions, especially now that we have a child of our own and want our own traditions. However, one tradition that we have done since we got married is to throw a Christmas Party and invite all of our friends (either we can't count, or we missed a year, because this should have been our 5th). It has been fun to see how much this group has changed from year to year. It seems like every year we add a few new people, and others move on and we miss seeing them. This year we had a decent turnout: 24 adults and 9 kids (all boys age 17 months to 4 yrs, expect for 1 girl in second grade!). Some couldn't make it because they were sick or already had other plans, but we had a great time of fellowship with those that were there. Here are a few pictures from Saturday:

Ian and Erin (her husband Nate was home sick, plus they have a son, Caedmon)
Chris, Brittany, and Leslie

Jackie and Will...............................................Heather and Lara

Titus making his famous "Hey, I have no bottom lip" smile
Our youngest guest...Isaiah was only 9 days old!!

Bart and Anne.................................and their son Soren (they also have a son, Pascal)

Justin and Erin...................................................Rob and Kristin

Maria and Timothy (I somehow missed her husband David and their son Michael)

I know I missed some of you, so I am sorry! I had a few more pictures I wanted to post, but I couldn't get blogger to let me add any more. I forgot to get a picture of all the food Stephen and I made....we had brownies, cookies, chocolate-dipped pretzel rods, peanut butter balls, chips/dip, chips/salsa, no-bake cookies, lemon bars, vegetable tray, cheeseball/crackers, and punch. We actually made 90% of it Saturday morning - mostly because after 4 years we now have a pretty good system. We have a lot of fun putting this on every year. Thanks to all of you that could make it!
