Wow, three posts in less than a week...are you impressed?!? :) I was just struck today with everything that seems to be going wrong with this pregnancy, and challenged to think of what I am thankful for instead of focusing on all the frustrations.
*The simple blessing of being able to get pregnant in the first place
*I can work and go to our morning church service while I am on bedrest (I couldn't do either with Titus)
*I haven't had heartburn nearly as bad with this baby as I did with Titus
*I had an amazing night of sleep last night - I think the first time in MONTHS (it helped that I didn't have to get up to go to the bathroom :) )!!
*Stephen - I don't know how I would manage if I was a single mother, or if he was unwilling to help
*The many people who have helped us along the way
*In the craziness of life, being able to just relax and be at home together as a family before she comes.
*I didn't have this PUPPS rash with Titus
*Being able to enjoy a second ultrasound
*She has all her fingers, toes, etc and looks completely normal and healthy!!!
*Benadryl and ice!!! :)
*I am almost half way through my 10 weeks of bedrest already!
*Having a break from cooking and cleaning :) :)
*The medication I am on to slow down the contractions is SO MUCH better than the medicine they put me on with Titus. The other stuff made my heart race and made me feel shaky. I can't even tell that I am taking this new kind!
*I have been able to spend a lot more time with Titus (I used to only get about an hour after dinner before he went to bed by the time I got home from work and got dinner ready) and he doesn't even realize that I am on bedrest because I can still play with him, read him books, etc. He is still a Daddy's boy...and even more so now, since Stephen has to do everything for him!!
And I am sure there lots of other things I am not thinking of right now, but I already feel better!

Wonderful post Michelle...it reminds me of all the things I have to be thankful for as well. Can you believe we're going to be living so close? We will certainly have to get together sometime and our little ones can play together!!
Hi, Michelle!
You and Newest Girl Mowat are in my prayers! I love you all. Say hi to Stephen for me!
