A Fun Week...

It has been a fun week with lots of people in and out. Normally, since I am an introvert, in the past this would have been overwhelming...but being on bedrest and not being able to see anyone or go anywhere definitely changes things!! I have had a lot of fun being around people because these days I get plenty of time to myself :) Titus has enjoyed it too, I think. Yesterday Stephen's sister Valerie and two counsins Lara and Leah came to visit as well as Leah's two boys Jensen and Payton. Titus was a little hesitant at first, but by the end of the night he was VERY wound up and laughing so hard...it was adorable and fun to see.


He also had another night of fun and giggles last week, and these are a few pictures from that:

I really thought I was balancing this all on my own...

On Saturday we had fun going to Menards and Meijer in Kokomo...Stephen pushed me around in a wheelchair so that I could go with him. It was SO nice getting out. I forgot how uncomfortable it is to ride in a car now - but it was worth the discomfort to get out for a while...OK, so overall I probably was a little too active this weekend (Stephen accidentally dropping a whole glass of cold water in my lap didn't help either...I think that was the fastest I have moved in a while!!), but I would say I have done very well for the last 6.5 weeks!

I had a doctor's appointment this morning and he said that I have gained a little as far as where I should be measuring which is good (bad for me because it means she is getting closer and closer to my ribs, and slouching is more and more uncomfortable...OK, so maybe that is a GOOD thing!!). It is funny because Stephen just said to me the other day that I was looking bigger, and I had just commented to him this morning how my maternity dress pants were a little tighter than normal. Dr. Swan did schedule another ultrasound for next Thursday to keep checking on our little girl to make sure she is catching up too. Not that we can do anything about it :) He just wants to make sure she is OK...and hey, other than having to have a full bladder, I enjoy ultrasounds :) Also, he gave me a prescription to help with the sickness I have been feeling which has been similar to morning sickness. Added bonus...it has an anti-itching substance in it as well!! Nice.
