IWU employees have exciting news - more for those of us that are hourly or administrative than the faculty. We now get all of Good Friday off - effective immediately! (How nice of them - they are going to give me a day off to celebrate the day I get off bedrest! ;)) Also, they are going to shut down the college between Christmas and New Year's!!! We now will get at least 5 and possibly 7 (depending on when Christmas falls) paid vacation days! We all thought it was crazy to work when no one called or came into the office during that time. I was dreading the year when Christmas fell on a Wednesday, because we would have had to work that Monday, had T-W-R off, and then had to work Friday! Now we don't even have to worry about that :)
13 days and counting until I am off bedrest (which I have renamed "restricted activity" since so many don't understand how I can still go to work every day). It is encouraging to see the end so close. There is so much I want to do!! I am thankfully feeling a little better - I don't feel as sick as I did, even though it comes and goes at times. Stephen is feeling less stressed as well, which is good. We had our third ultrasound on Thursday and she is still small to no one's surprise...a whopping 4 pounds (the average baby is almost 5-6 lbs at 34 weeks!!). She is already in the 10th percentile and she is not even born yet :) The good news is that Dr. Swan is no longer concerned at all. He said she is exactly following the growth curve for her "age" and so she is just going to be a little petite. We could see a huge difference from last ultrasound to this one...we could tell she has been putting on the weight which, if she continues to follow the curve, is just going to continue in leaps and bounds from now until she comes. I can definitely tell a huge difference too...she is starting to kick my ribs, and I can definitely feel it in my back more now. A huge disadvantage to being "all belly" I guess...I hate getting my picture taken, but maybe I will post one when I get off my "restricted activity" :)
Fun fact...today marks the day that Stephen and I "officially" got together 7 years ago. We had met 2 months prior to that and spent every day hanging out, but it was the 24th of March, sitting on a bench outside Shatford Hall, that he actually asked me to be his girl ;) Even more crazy to think that this summer will be our five year anniversary...the time has gone so fast!!!
I think that is all for now...hope all of you are having a great weekend so far...

Hey Michelle~
Glad you're feeling better. Spring has that effect on people. That was a fun memory you shared about you and Stephen sitting outside Shatford. I vaguely remember calling it "twitterpation season" around there this time of year. Hugs to your boys for a great first full week of spring. ><>
Glad to hear that Spring is here & it sounds like it has given you an new burst of strength & energy!:) Hey now Titus and Jensen have matching car beds, how cute!!
trivial pursuit.
Michelle -
So glad that you're feeling a bit better! Only a few more days of this bedrest:) I am getting into photography, and would love to take some pictures of you and/or your new baby girl when she arrives! You can see some of my work at www.flickr.com/photos/reneejphotography
Hang in there!

I am loving this nice weather too!! The kids want to be outside all the time which is good!! Have any plans for the big five year anniversary?
So good to hear that your pregnancy is going better too! It will be so exciting to see what she looks like and what kind of personality she will have!! Well, have a good weekend!
OH, to answer your question. Hayden definitely looks like Dax but then again.... I thought Dax and Grace looked like twins at this age too!! All three looked liked this when they were born pretty much!! I might post some pics soon of all three at this age!!
