Yesterday and today I was home alone with both kids...quite the experience! It is not too bad until both of them need me at the same time! Thankfully Titus was so tired after all the excitement of the last 10 days with family being down, he decided to take two naps again...a HUGE help.
I must have been spoiled with Titus, because even though Damaris is eating well, it is really frustrating because she acts like she is hungry almost all the time! Sometimes I will just get done feeding her and not even 5 minutes later she is fussy and acting hungry! I think some of it is she is too little to really have the hang of eating - at least that is what I am hoping, because I am going crazy feeding her every 1-2 hours when she takes a half hour to eat! No wonder she is packing on the pounds :) Thankfully she does not have her days and nights mixed up and generally sleeps at least 3 hours before waking up to eat...I think I would cry if she ate ever hour or two all night long...
Yesterday I attempted to cut my own hair...I figured it was long enough that if I messed up it wouldn't be a big deal. Overall I think I did pretty good, even if it did take a long time! :) I didn't put layers in it or anything, just trimmed it a couple inches...I feel so much better!
Also yesterday, I caught Titus taking pictures with my camera...I was only in the bathroom a minute, but he managed to take 10 pictures! Most were blurry, but I had to share this one with you because I thought it was pretty cool :)

A lady at church organized meals for us for the next two weeks...definitely nice to not have to think about cooking!! I will miss that for sure!
I keep trying to take good pictures of Damaris, but I am really terrible at it. Plus she really is not very good about opening her eyes wide...or maybe I am just used to Titus' big brown eyes :) Good thing I am not a photographer!!

Ditto. M-F 4-11. I just breath, pray, and know that not much will get done around the house during the week till Sarah gets out of the needy stage. Hang in there!!!
I love that you still have time to post pics and tell all of us how you all are doing!! Keep posting, & we will keep reading & looking @ the pics!!:)
Double ditto. It IS encouraging to me that there are friends out there going through the same thing. Caleb wants to eat every couple of hours round the clock, and it seems like he refuses to sleep more than 20 minutes without being held. Lord help us! :)
This is exactly what I have to look forward to! How far apart are Titus and Damaris? David and Grace will be 21 months apart. BTW- she is beautiful!!
She is such a doll. That is an adorable picture of her. It is crazy how hectic it is with 2 kids huh? We always thought it was so crazy with the one and then we you have the two you think that was a breeze. Well, good luck you will be fine. You will have your stressful days but its worth it, especially when they start playing together and hugging each other!
