Fun Week...

This week has been a lot of fun. On Monday we had an all day adventure - which thankfully my sister Kara joined as well so it wasn't as crazy with the kids! We left shortly after 7 AM and headed up to get a fifth-wheel hitch put in the back of our truck. This was supposed to take 3-4 hours, so we toured their campers and then picked one to call "home" where we let Titus take a nap and we played Phase 10 Dice. Then we drove another hour to trade in our old camper for the one we looked at two weeks ago.

Then we drove home, got in our already packed car, and headed to my other sister's house in Indianapolis, arriving around 8:30 PM. We had to get up at 3:30 AM to get Stephen to the airport for his flight to Orlando for The Wesleyan Church (he is in charge of housing for the youth convention coming up in December). While he was gone, I had a lot of fun staying with my sister Carlyn and her husband Chris, and my nieces Amisha (who is 15 and WAY taller than me - how is that right?!?), Elizabeth, and Gillian.

My brother Brent and his family also live in Indianapolis, so he came and visited Carlyn and I one of the afternoons

This is a basket that I think almost all of us kids slept in at one point growing up...so Carlyn said I had to carry on the tradition with Damaris :)

Back at home "helping" me fold laundry

Last night we had to sleep in the camper of course :) Even though we weren't at a campground, it still was a lot of fun! We hope to possibly go out this next weekend, but for sure Memorial Weekend for our annual camping in the middle of nowhere in Michigan with my mom's side of the family. We are excited to get out and camp this summer, especially now that we have a nicer camper!
