Happy Birthday Titus!

We had a fun Father's Day weekend camping at a nearby campground and celebrating Titus' 2nd birthday...

I made a Veggie Tales cake (oops, forgot candles - he won't remember right?!?)

We went swimming and Titus loved it...on Friday he was a little hesitant, but by the end was jumping in. On Saturday he was basically fearless :)

My parents camped with us, and then my sister came in every day from her apartment and my sister Carlyn and her family came up from Indy. We celebrated on Saturday even though his birthday wasn't until yesterday. This year he actually ate the cake...which was a nice change :)

Late Saturday night Stephen's sisters drove down from Michigan and we spent Sunday having fun hanging out with them and his cousin Lara who drove up from Indy. Titus had fun running through the sprinkler with his aunt Valerie! I missed getting a picture of aunt Bethany...sorry!!!!!

Titus has a pretty large vocab but still not really putting the words together, so only a few sentences at the moment. He repeats almost anything, remembers everything, and keeps going through different interests in learning (like his whole interest in the alphabet a couple months ago). His new thing is names...which is fun because he is finally saying names of family and friends and it is adorable. He says Damaris ("mamis") and Grandma ("gamma") and a LOT more...but these are cute new ones he has started to say. What is really cute is he will say a name and then go "Where is he/she"? It makes me wonder what triggers him to think of different people at various points in his day. He is so much fun and we have loved watching him grow and change these past two years!!
