Christmas with the Snyders

After the visit with our friends, we headed to my parent's house for 4 days. We decided to combine our trips and have Christmas with them at the same time as my cousin's wedding, to help cut down on the times would would have otherwise had to drive to Michigan. Here are some pictures from our time in Allendale...

Opening Christmas Presents

It is so cute to see her sitting up!!

Titus loves trains, so we stopped by my Uncle Mel's house to see his train set. Titus loved it, and threw a fit when we had to leave :)

Having fun with Grandpa...Damaris with her Great Grandma

Jon used to be the youth pastor at our church, so it was good to see him and his daughter Katelyn (look at all that hair!!!!!) who is almost 3 months old. His wife, Anni, had to work that night :(

My grandpa and sister, Carlyn...Me, my sister Kara, grandpa, and Carlyn.
On Friday my cousin got married. It was also my Grandpa's Birthday - he turned 91!! My cousin was giving him a hard time because he still goes hunting and had just been out hunting that morning. I hope I am that active when I am his age!!

Sister picture...My cousin Michael and his new wife, Jodi

We had a great time away and it was nice spending time with family, but we were VERY happy to finally see our home after 10 days of being away. Overall the kids did better than I expected, although Damaris got more and more clingy the longer we were away. She wouldn't even be content with Stephen after a few minutes of him holding her. I have to admit, it was kind of nice in a way...because I have never had that before...Titus has always been such a huge "daddy's boy" that it is nice to feel wanted ;)

I think Damaris is also going through a growth spurt...she is waking up in the middle of the night to eat (pacifier just won't do it, I have tried) just like Titus did when he was about this age. She is going to town on eating cereal and fruits and veggies. She acts like she is starving...and you can look at her and see she is not ;) Hopefully she will start sleeping through the night again, because I am getting REALLY tired.

Have a great week!
