Birthday cake!
Stephen took a toothpick and drew the train on the cake and then I did the rest. I was pretty excited with how it turned out!

The Birthday Boy blowing out his candle!

Opening one of his gifts from us. This also has a scoop for the front and a wagon for the back.

Opening presents from A. Bethany and A. Valerie...and playing with the train (2 engines, 4 cars) that Stephen made for him - he LOVES it!! (and Stephen did a great job...it looks amazing!!)

More presents...

McQueen pillow and blanket...remote control 4-wheeler for little kids
(from G-pa & G-ma Snyder)

Look at his face - do you think he was excited about the ride?!?
(And of course we had to talk my mom into going for a ride too! :) )

Looking back...
Titus at 1 year old and Titus at 2 years old
We had a great time celebrating his birthday - and I think he had a lot of fun celebrating for 3 days straight...and more celebrations to come with Stephen's parents coming down tonight. Titus loves having people around, so I think he is going to go into withdrawal once everyone leaves!!
Here are some other pictures of our week:

The funny faces of Damaris
(Helping in the garage and riding Titus's new tractor when he wasn't looking :) )

Damaris has taken up to 4-5 steps now...but still not really on her own - only when we make her try :) She stands up really well by herself (a few times in the middle of the floor without holding on to anything) and hopefully will realize soon that she can walk without us coaxing her :) She also has been super fussy the last few days, and we saw last night that one tooth has come through - but the opposite side of where she was really chewing on things...so maybe more to come?? We shall see...

This is a cake that a lady from our church gave to us. Her niece (I think) makes cakes, and this is one of them. We thought it was so cool, so we had to take pictures of it (you may want to click on the pictures to see them larger and more detailed)!
I thought of you, specifically, Natalie - maybe you can try out a cake like this sometime ;)

Here are pictures of Stephen's softball game last Saturday (Titus LOVES going). We continue to lose, but this is our first season in YEARS and we keep playing larger churches (this one is probably 10 times the size of us...College Wesleyan). We are doing better, and I think we could win some of these games!! Hopefully we can make tournament so we can have another shot at the end of the season. The most exciting part of the team is the new faces we have seen in church (because of the requirement to attend in order to play), and the way people have really connected...now hopefully we can get them to stay. This has been such a great outreach!!!
Have a great rest of your week everyone!!

Happy Birthday, Titus! That cake looks great; you did a really nice job. And the train that Stephen made really is amazing. He could sell those for big bucks!
3 years old already! I remember visiting you guys in the hospital after he was born. :) Titus is wearing an outfit you gave us in the one year picture. I love that outfit! We have pictures of Luke wearing it in our trip to TN. Thanks again for all the clothes! My mom keeps commenting on all his cute outfits and I keep saying, "Stephen and Michelle!"
Happy Birthday Titus! The cake looks great!! Looks like he had a fun party with lots of fun gifts!! Have a good weekend!!
Happy Birthday to Titus! Your train cake looks terrific! You did a great job on it :) I'm so glad that Titus has had such a great birthday and it looks like he's got lots of fun new toys. And hooray for Damaris taking a few steps. She'll be walking all over before you know it!! Oh and I saved a copy of your cake and the cake you were given (which is beautiful!) on my computer so I can keep them for ideas...thanks!! Hope you have a great weekend!
