Back Again

It has been a crazy past two weeks - 3 funerals, 2 weddings (Stephen officiated 4 of the 5) in 14 days...not to mention work, church, and household stuff. Whew!

Thank you for all your prayers! Stephen did a great job at his Aunt's funeral. I think my favorite part of funerals is reflecting on who the person was - remembering the great things about them. He described his aunt as a person who cared about others and was always the first person to jump if someone needed help. Stephen was able to give a basic gospel message, which went nicely with the rest of his message at the service.

We also had a great time just being with family. Here are some pictures from our trip:

This is how both our kids traveled for the 5 hour trip up: Titus all relaxed watching a movie and Damaris sleeping so peacefully. Now if only they could do this every trip ;)

Damaris was VERY clingy at the viewing...it was so cute to see her snuggling up with her Grandpa Mowat, and I of course enjoyed snuggling with her as well!!

What is a trip to Grandpa and Grandma Mowat's without riding the horse?!? Titus has always enjoyed it, but Damaris LOVED it...look at her smile!
That is, until we tried to put her on without one of us...

She was not too happy, and I am not sure Titus knew what to think of her...isn't this just the cutiest, little sad face?!?

We also found a painter turtle on the road and took him (or her!) back to our house in Jonesboro :) Titus loves it, and every few minutes says "I need to go see Thomas". And, it only cost $10 for an aquarium for him/her, and a couple bucks for food. That's a pretty cheap pet!
Here are a few other pictures from the last week...

Titus helping Stephen sand a board...Damaris loves tractors!

Titus looked way too cute sitting on the 4-wheeler - just like he was giving his sister a ride...he looked a little too natural, if you ask me!! :)

Thanks, Michelle!

I am not the greatest commenter either, but when I don't get a single comment, I wonder if anyone is really reading my blog.

Thanks for reading!
