Sunday Update

They took Stephen's Aunt Nancy off the life support earlier today, and although she is not doing well, she is still alive as I type this. She is fighting, but the doctors still say it is just a matter of time.

Our prayer is that God would use this situation in some way to bring others to Him. Sometimes it is so easy to live life thinking that we have all the time in the world to make things right - but we need to have an urgency for the people who do not know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior...because life is short, and we do not know how long any of our loved ones may have on this earth.

It is so easy to take things for granted - and now is the time to make a decision to follow our Heavenly Father...who stand with arms open, ready for you to accept the love, forgiveness, and peace He offers through His Son, Jesus - who died in YOUR place for YOUR sins - who conquered death and lives again. He promises in the Bible that there will still be pain and hard times, but He promises to never leave us or forsake us. He promises to free us from our guilt and shame, and make us new. He gives us hope, and a future. What an amazing gift - and He stands ready to give it freely...you simply need to accept it. No one else can do it for you, and there is no other way to spend eternity in Heaven.

Don't wait another minute...life is hard, but God is good.
