Motorcycle Ride

Last week Saturday we went on a motorcycle ride to raise money for a little girl who lives by our church with cancer - it was actually on her 4th birthday, which was kind of neat.

Registration - lots of bikes!!...Jeremy and Stephen

We were going to do a motorcycle ride as a church, but when we found out this benefit ride was the same day, we decided to join the group. There were over 60 bikes, and even though we were easily the smallest bike out there (ours is just a 600), and one of the few that weren't Harley's, we still had a blast!! Neither one of us had ever been a part of something like this before, and it was really fun!!! We rode about a 100 miles, and then came back to eat together. It was pretty cool seeing that many of us all riding together. One thing that made me laugh on the ride was seeing this older guy in overalls riding this old bike from like WWII or something...definitely NOT the stereotypical biker :) :) I really enjoy riding on the motorcycle...I think I am becoming a "biker chick"! :) :)

I was going to try to post more pictures, but that will have to wait...dial up is not cooperating...at least 20-30 minutes per picture!!! We have been pretty busy (I am SOOOO behind on reading my friends' blogs, it is not even funny!!). Work has been crazy, the kids have been crazy, and church has been crazy :) Life is good :) :)

I will at least leave you will a funny story...

Yesterday, we had to have the van worked on (thankfully still under warranty!!), and so I told Titus to get his shoes on because we had to go pick up the van...his response: "That'll be really heavy" :)

He is completely his father's child...only Titus didn't say that to be corny, which is probably why it made me laugh even harder! :)

Biker chick eh?? You are a adorable biker chick!! You might need to start investing into some leather though to make the whole thing seem complete!! ;) I have only rode a motorcycle once before but it was fun! I could see myself really liking it too! I love what Titus said about the van!! Very funny! Congratulations to you and Stephen on six years!!
