Thanksgiving

We have never really had a steady rotation for Thanksgiving or Christmas - it seems like there is always something that has come up unexpected - like getting pregnant and wanting to go to both sides to announce it, last year Stephen working in Orlando just after Christmas, etc. Well, we had just started to settle in and get things figured out, when we decided it wasn't really working. With the way we were rotating, I was never able to see my cousins, aunts or uncles for Thanksgiving OR Christmas :( So, since most of Stephen's cousins still come every year, we thought it would be better to switch sooner rather than later...So this year we went to Stephen's family for Thanksgiving for the second year in a row.

And, it was actually my birthday last Wednesday, so Stephen's mom cooked me a special meal and everything when we got up there, which I REALLY appreciated. Those of you with birthdays around major holidays can relate to the fact that it is easy to get overlooked and rush through birthdays. Normally I am traveling or not home for my birthday - which stinks. So, it really meant a lot to me that she went the extra mile to make the day special for me.

As for Thanksgiving festivities, what would time with family be without...

...Reading with Great-Grandma...

...football and fellowship...

...crazy times and silly games...

...photoshoots with the great-grandkids...

...sibling pictures...

...bundling up to go outside...

...sledding in the snow...

...and going to see the horses.

We also celebrated Christmas with Stephen's family since after Christmas we will be going up to spend some time with my side of the family.

We had a great time, and Titus was pretty upset that we had to leave!
