Gatlinburg, TN

For Christmas this past year, we decided to take each set of our parents away for a few days so that we could all spend time together - we thought since we live far away that this might be a nice change instead of a physical gift. Anyway, we took my parents to Gatlinburg last week, and then we will take Stephen's parents to Boyne Falls (near Traverse City) in April.

Here are pictures of our time in Tennessee...

Damaris being silly as usual, "eating" a banana (yes, that is a Cars tatoo)...and snuggle time with Daddy (which is rare, so Stephen was loving every minute!)


And of course I had to have snuggle time, too...The kids hugging the bear at the welcome center for the Smokey Mountain National Park.

Stephen thought I was silly for even taking these pictures, but these trees were right outside our window, and I thought they were so cool! It looked like they had ornaments all over them...but really it was just the nut or whatever. I have no idea what kind of tree these are, but I was intrigued :)

This just made me laugh...Titus was being so bossy, and he kept saying this, so I had to try to get it on video for everyone's enjoyment... (don't worry, I got after him for being bossy, but I had to get the video first, of course :) :) )


And last but not least, I thought this was cute so I had to throw it in here even though it had nothing to do with our trip :) :)
