On Monday we went to the doctor for her well-visit and shots...and here are her stats:
Weight: 23 lbs 15 oz (10-25th percentile)
Height: 32" (10-25th percentile)
Head: 18.5" (25-50th percentile)
To compare, when Titus went in for his 2-year check-up, he was just over 24 pounds and 34 inches (but had boots on at the time, so probably was 33 inches, and weighed less).
I was told that if you double your child's height at 2 years old, it is pretty close to how tall they will be...and when I asked her doctor, he said that for the most part that is pretty accurate. So that means Damaris will probably be 5'4" (my height) and Titus will be 5'6" to 5'8"...but Stephen is 5'10", so let's hope that Titus will be a little taller than 5'6"... :)
We also asked our doctor about her not saying very much or very clearly, and he is faxing her information over to First Steps, which is a program in the area that helps out kids until age 3. Hopefully we will be able to get her a little help in the near future...

I have enjoyed leading the kids program this week. It helps that Gen Springer loaned me some amazing Promiseland (Willow Creek kids) curriculum that I used at Lakeview several years ago. I would not have been able to prep something new with work and 3 kids! Thanks for thinking of me. :)
She does look awfully cute like that. :)
So if I double David's height, he will be 6'2"! He's a big boy. We also had David evaluated at about that age (which he how we found out that he had extremely enlarged adenoids and tonsils), and they were really helpful. Even though he didn't qualify, they gave us great tips for after his surgery. I hope that it will be just as helpful for you guys.
