With us moving in August, we decided it would be too much to do with a dog, so we have found a really nice family to take her for us. At least, they haven't called us saying they decided not to keep her ;) It seems like we go through dogs quicker than anything else in our life...but for some reason we always have major things come up that just don't let it work out...maybe some day :(
The kids will definitely miss her the most...
She really was a nice dog, and for the most part behaved herself...other than bolting out the door if you weren't watching and you seriously couldn't catch her. Ever. She wouldn't even respond with her shock collar turned all the way up! You had to either somehow corner her, or wait for her to stop and go to the bathroom, or just wait for her to come in the house by leaving the door open. I think the tipping point was me accidentally letting her out 3 times in 2 days (one time it was my own fault - she wasn't even in the house 10 seconds and ran out our back door, which I had forgotten I had opened in order to wait for her to return on her own). With us moving, we would be in and out all the time of our old house and our new house, and knew we couldn't deal with her getting out AND the stress of moving.
Seriously, though, we enjoyed her...and wish it would have worked out :(

With how you always seem to just toss dogs to the side, I don't see why you should bother trying to get another dog in the future. Seems like a pretty trivial reason to get rid of a really good dog.
Aww, I love dogs too, I'm sure you'll find another good one when you're able to have one again!
