Labor Day Weekend

Labor Day weekend was SUCH a nice, relaxing weekend. My sister, Kara and her fiance Dan were going to stay at our house Friday night and then head to Mackinaw and stay with my aunt and uncle and cousins, but it was supposed to rain all day Saturday, so they didn't want to go up just for Sunday morning/afternoon. So on Saturday we had a GREAT time hanging out, playing games, and we even got to go on a double date!!!

Kara and Dan

Stephen found a turtle and brought it in so the kids could see it.

Starting to get brave...

Finally on the move...

Then we took him outside so he could go in the pond

In our garden we are growing big pumpkins for the kids...

They are pretty big, but still have a ways to go, so it will be fun to see how big they get!

What a nut!

My and my sister before our double date

Dan reading a book to the kids

So sweet...

Kara driving the tractor

Just a fun picture when we were driving...unfortunately my picture of them didn't turn out :(

Then Sunday it was just us again, and so in the afternoon we took the kids for icecream in town. It was really cute how they put eyes in the icecream :)

On Monday we of course had the day off, and we spent the day catching up at home and just relaxing too. It was AWESOME and much needed...

We found this pretty big walking stick. That's Titus's finger, which is pretty small, so you can see how big it was!

Helping Daddy...I love her little tongue :)

Titus helping too

Even Eva "helping" in the barn

Damaris pretending she was on crutches

And of course Titus had to try it too!

It was such a great weekend!
