They got in after the kids were already in bed, and this is what they came in the door to...me, on top of Eva so she wouldn't bark and wake up the kids, and holding her down to she wouldn't pee all over the floor (she loves people, and gets way too excited when people come to visit). Kara thought it was funny, so she wanted a picture :)
Damaris shares a birthday with Rome...which Dan commented on, so Kara and I were sneaky and made up a cupcake and sang happy birthday to Rome :)
In addition to helping out with the party, they also helped Saturday morning. Saturday was super busy...in addition to her party in the afternoon, Stephen had a men's breakfast at the church, the kids had t-ball pictures, and I had a conference call. So Kara and Dan volunteered to take the kids in the freezing cold to get pictures, while Stephen was at the church and I was on my call. I thought these pictures turned out cute!

Then it was time to read!
The kids LOVE reading books, so were pretty excited that Uncle Dan was reading to them!
