Last week Tuesday was the first day of school! I am not sure where the summer went, but it was gone SO FAST.
Although it is strange to think of BOTH of my kiddos being in school all day after having kids at home for 7 years, I am not at all sad or crying like so many other parents (no offense to those of you that are). I am not mourning the loss of childhood and passing of time and seeing the kids getting so big way too fast (which is VERY true).
Some might call that cold...but I call it living in the moment and just being SO excited for my kids and how much they have changed. I love watching them grow up as they are able to do more and learn more, and as they continue on this journey to adulthood...I love watching them "live life" in general. I am so proud of you Titus and Damaris!!!

The kids told me instead of a picture every year in front of the door, they want to be in front of the fish tank :) I had to do both this year since I still want something to compare last year to!

They are so cute! I can't get over how big they both look. And it was really neat to see Titus' lost teeth :)
