My aunts and uncles decided with my grandpa having passed away and my grandma with advanced Alzheimer's in a nursing home, that they would sell most of their possessions and rent their house. We purchased the bedroom set that my one aunt and mom shared growing up. So this past weekend we went down to go pick everything up. It was hard seeing the house empty, and knowing that I will probably never be in there again. Sometimes it is hard getting older and seeing so many things change...and yet it still makes me appreciate so much more of the every day events that I might have not noticed before...

I bet that was hard! I remember feeling the same way when we had to sell my grandparents house.
