Water Park

We are done with our 100 days!!!!  We are taking turns picking one fun thing a week to do as a family and Titus picked first - he choose Papa John's so we could eat pizza and get their garlic Parmesan bread sticks - YUM!!!!!!!!

I am not sure what Damaris is picking next week, but I hope it is homemade doughnuts from Anderson's!! :)

We also were planning a major celebration for finishing the challenge, and we decided to go to Michigan's Adventure, but I found out that they closed the water park section already :(  I was sad because it was supposed to be over 80 degrees and sunny!  So instead we went to the indoor water park in Frankenmuth.

The kids had a BLAST!!!

Classy.

Stephen's sister, Valerie went with me.  It was a HUGE help...both kids were apart almost the whole day, and I don't know how else I would have done it!

Titus loved the hot tub, of course!

Let's race!

Damaris spent almost all day going down their biggest, fastest slide.  She was a fanatic!  I had a lot of fun, because that was my favorite slide, too.  :)  Valerie and I knew Titus would love it, but he was freaking out about it.  We just dragged him up screaming and crying anyway (don't judge) and gave him a token for the arcade for going down it.  He said he hated it, but I knew he was just being stubborn.

So, after lunch, we went to the arcade and the kids used their one token each.  Then we went back to the park and I told Titus that if he went down the slide again, he could get TWO tokens!  He didn't even hesitate, and ran right over to the slide.  Score!  And, you guessed it, he loved it and wanted to go over and over again until we left for the day :)

We went back to the arcade after we were done in the water park...and both kids really liked that, too!  It was a great day, and both kids went on and on about how much they loved it and were having fun.  It was an awesome way to celebrate our 100 days!!!

No judging here! lol We have done our fair share of dragging our child kicking and screaming to force them to try something we know they will love! Aaaaand we are not above bribing our kids either. ;)
