Mowat Madness: Weekend with Friends

This past weekend we had friends of ours come for a visit...we only live a couple of hours away, but it still has been two years since we have gotten together! We planned for Josh and Shelah to come and stay the whole weekend, which was SO MUCH fun compared to just a day visit! Here are some pictures of our time together...

Wyatt and Titus played SO good together in spite of the 3 year age difference. They must be into the same things, because there was never any fighting and they always seemed to be totally engrossed in what they were doing :)

Mya is a DOLL...she is just the sweetest thing, and has the sweetest voice. She LOVED our dog, and was constantly asking for Eva by name :)

On Saturday, the oldest three went out sledding in our back yard!

Time for a new "ride"...

The we loaded up and headed into Crystal, where our church is located because all day on Saturday they had their annual Winter Festival. There were all kinds of activities, but with an almost two year old, we chose wisely :) :) We ate lunch at our church, and then headed to the local roller skating rink! Unfortunately, I had hurt my back earlier in the week, so not only did I miss out on sledding earlier that morning, but had to miss out on roller skating, too :( But, I was able to get decent pictures, considering the weird lighting! It was our first time ever going with the kids, so it was interesting watching them figure it out :)

Apparently Wyatt has been really wanting to go roller skating, so he was LOVING it! It was perfect that I wasn't skating, because I could watch Mya while Josh and Shelah were with Wyatt.
