Happy Birthday, Damaris!!

 Monday, April 21st Damaris turns 7 years old!!!  We had cake and ice cream Sunday after a yummy Easter dinner with family.  My parents, and Stephen's parents, grandma, his sister Bethany, and his sister Valerie's fiance, Pete, were all able to come help celebrate :)

Damaris really wanted Olaf from the movie Frozen.  

Not one of my favorite cakes I have made, but then, it is just a snowman LOL.  I thought it turned out cute, though...and I even made my cake from scratch (first time ever), the whipped cream frosting, and a homemade chocolate butter cream frosting.  I loved the flavor!

I wasn't sure if the cake would look good the next day, so Saturday night when I finished it, I made sure to get some pictures :)

But, thankfully it still looked good on Sunday :)

Damaris said she was going to wish that she could be a dolphin :) :)

Her main present from us was the movie Frozen :)  So it was perfect that she wanted Olaf for the cake :)

From us she got pajamas and matching pajamas for one of her dolls, a robe (princesses of course :) ), an outfit for this summer, and the movie :)

I think she had a nice day of celebration, and I am glad we were able to get together with family in spite of the distance and the business of Easter.  I can't believe my baby girl is 7!!!!!!!!!!!!
