On Sunday my work paid for our area to go to a Lansing Lugnuts baseball game, just like last year. We got free admission for the whole family, plus $10 each to spend in the stadium! We had a great time!!
Chris, one of our techs, was able to throw out the first pitch of the game!
It was kids night, too, so they had all kinds of fun things for the kids. This is just a cute shot of the kids I took while we were waiting in line for the free balloon animals.
Damaris choose a blue snake with googly eyes :)
Titus of course wanted a snake, too :)
Potter Park Zoo was also there for Kids Night and they had all kinds of animals! This is a tarantula.
Damaris was sooooo brave and touched the boa constrictor they had there. In fact, she was so proud of herself, that she kept going back wanting to pet it. She told me she is not afraid of snakes anymore...at least the ones that aren't moving and don't startle her :)
They also had a bearded dragon
An armadillo! They also had a chinchilla and dove, but I didn't get pictures of those animals.
After the game they let the kids run the bases, which they thought was cool!
It was a great night out...thank you Frontier!!!
