Funeral

Last week Thursday and Friday we traveled to Indiana for the funeral of a man that was very dear to both Stephen and I - Rod Dennis.  He was the first pastor Stephen served under at Bethel Friends Church.  We loved the people there, and really were our family when we were hours away from family.  Rod helped our marriage out through a really difficult time, and helped me out at some of my lowest moments.  He had cancer, and lost that battle at only 68.  It was nice to be able to go and be there to support Judy, and to also see people from the church we haven't seen in years.

I wasn't planning on taking pictures and posting them, but it happened to be in my purse, and the kids wanted me to take pictures of them at Steak 'n Shake.  It was their first time there, and they loved it!

I also had to post this picture...it was on our way home on Friday...they were so tired!!!
