Happy Birthday Titus!!

Titus is now TEN...double digits!!!  It is CRAZY to think of how fast the last 10 years have gone.

Titus loves Legos, video games, and reading.  He is strong, quick to learn, has a good sense of humor, and is sensitive.  We love him to pieces!

He basically had 4 days of celebration - last Tuesday we had presents, cupcakes and ice cream with his grandparents and Aunt Bethany.  Then Wednesday was his actual birthday so that was when we gave him presents.  And then we told him when he turned 10 he could have a party and invite friends to spend the night, so Friday and Saturday were the last two days :)  All that to say, I hope he felt special and celebrated! :)

Silly picture

Damaris really wanted to give her gifts to him on Tuesday :)  She got him a Diary of a Wimpy Kid book and a movie.

Aunt Bethany got him a Lego set and $10!

Another Lego set from Grandpa and Grandma Mowat

Track for his train from Grandpa and Grandma Snyder

Combining two of his three favorite things - Lego magazines.  He has been completely engrossed! :)

This is on his actual birthday - he loves American Chillers and Michigan Chillers, so we picked him up a couple books

We also got him Big Hero 6.  Not pictured is some WiiU expansions for Mario Kart 8.  He has been asking and asking for them, so he was pretty excited :)

I had totally planned to make him a cool cake that would look like a giant Lego...I had leftover cupcakes to use and everything.  But he had a huge meltdown and said that he wanted a track with grass in the middle and he wanted his candles to line the sides so that they looked like stadium lighting.  He built his own cars for it and everything.  So I caved.

I thought the other cake would have looked a lot cooler, but he insisted when he saw it that it was "exactly what I wanted".  And I got a huge hug out of the deal, so that was a bonus ;)

Javin, Landon, Titus, and Owen

Legos from Owen

Legos from Javin

Hot Wheels from Landon (which Titus also really likes!)

Titus picked what he wanted for while the boys were there - we had homemade pizza, and then we went to see the new movie Inside Out, which was really good.  Then we came home and the boys had a blast playing outside, playing foosball, shooting each other with Nerf guns, and just being incredibly loud and wound up ;)  We finally got them to calm down and get in bed around 11, but then were up and at 'em early the next morning...I woke up to them playing foosball at 7:30 the next morning :)

We did homemade donuts and fruit for breakfast, they played outside some more, and then it was time to head back home.  Titus was really sad they had to go - which is a good sign ;)  Here are a couple pictures of the frogs they caught!

Even a baby tree frog - it still had its tail!
