Random Pictures

Here are some random pictures from the last couple weeks:

Scott and Amanda invited us to a free picnic in Carson City to kick off their annual Frontier Days festival.  This is a duck race they do each year :)

They got this one all the way up, then decided there was just a bit too much wind, so they took it down

Damaris wanted to do a home version of the show "Chopped", so I gave her some ingredients and she had 30 minutes to use all of those ingredients (plus she could add others from around the house if she wanted) to make something edible :)

These were her 5 ingredients...sugar snap peas, walnuts, sesame sticks, an apricot, and spinach

Finished product...she went all out to make it look fancy and everything :)  I was a bit leery of what she made, but it actually tasted pretty good!

Titus and his friend Owen were playing outside and found a reptile egg of some sort.  It looks like it might have gone bad or something because it was kind of smashed.  

They also found a frog :)
