Gatlinburg - Day 3: Swimming

As you can probably tell since this is the 3rd post for Day 3...yesterday was a VERY full day! So it was fitting that we crashed in the pool before we went to bed :)

I know this is not going to seem like a big deal to many of you since our kids are 10 and 12, but swimming is a big deal in our family.  Stephen is hydrophobic, and I hate swimming unless the water is like 85 or 90 degrees...no joke.  Our kids have never been a huge fan of the water either, even though we have tried to make a point to go swimming whenever we get the chance, and have even put them in swimming lessons a few times.  They like playing in the water, but not swimming.  We made HUGE progress during our time here!!!  At one point, I asked Titus, "Who are you, and what have you done with Titus?!?".  He was a little FISH, swimming all over, going underwater, and doing flips!  It was very exciting to see!

I mean, seriously...how is this Titus?????

Damaris is normally our braver of the two, but was a bit more hesitant of the water this trip.  However, she still was very brave and went under the water!
