We had a great day yesterday! My sister, Kara, and her husband, Dan, came up for the weekend for Titus's birthday, and this is their first time at our house when it wasn't cold outside :) So we walked down to the lake near our house, went to Anderson's orchard, went on a pontoon boat ride, and ended the day with sparklers and strawberry shortcake!
I of course took lots of pictures at Anderson's :) :) :)
Donkey
Baby chicks!
They were SO cute!
This goose was sitting so still...we thought it was a statue!
I think the donkey likes it :)
I don't know what kind of bird this was, but it was posing and I thought this picture turned out good!
Baby kangaroo!
(I think it was a kangaroo...I know there is another type of animal similar to a kangaroo, it may have been that instead??)
Adult!
This is called a Coatimundi. It is similar to raccoon...this one is a baby!
He was pretty curious!
My favorite little monkeys...they are so small and cute!
He had such funny spikes on his legs!
This was a quail...I couldn't get a very good picture...this was the best I could do :)
Peacock
Turkey
Emu
This picture cracked me up!
Zebra
Camel
Some type of sheep
They have lots of stuff for the kids to play on, too!
Pig!
We couldn't go in the bunny section, but I was able to sneak a picture :)
Barely fits!
Our friends Greg and Karen have a boat on Crystal Lake, so we went after dinner for a nice ride. It was very calm night and hardly anyone was on the water, which was nice.
Titus looking at the screen where it showed when there were fish :)
Looking behind the boat
I thought this was so adorable :)
I thought this was funny, too
When we got home, while I was making strawberry shortcake (that I could actually eat!) from the strawberries we got from Anderson's, the kids got in their pajamas and sparklers that Kara and Dan brought.
It was a busy yet relaxing, great day and we had a wonderful time!
