I strongly believe that the key to good food is a good recipe...so I wanted to share some of my favorite websites.
All of these are also in my list of websites on the side of this blog, and they all have Facebook pages if you want to follow them! I like following them on Facebook because they keep "feeding" me (ha!) great recipes in their posts :)
- Of course, 100 Days of Real Food. I have yet to find a recipe I haven't liked. Seriously. I make their food and try their recipes with confidence because of this. And, it is the website that made my decision to switch to real food in the first place, so it has a bit of personal reasons for me to like it, too. :)
- A site that I just found this, but so far I absolutely LOVE is My Whole Food Life. They have a ton of granola cereal recipes that I really want to try (our family loves their cereals)! Before I knew it, I had over 30 recipes that I wanted to make, and I could have kept going (I think I need an ice cream maker!). This website has several vegan, nut free, and gluten free recipes for those of you that want/need it! I am excited to see if the recipes are going to give me the same recipe confidence 100 Days of Real Food did!
- SugarFreeMom.com is another one I have been following for a while. This website has a lot of sugar free options (hence the name). However, a lot of the sweet recipes were ones I couldn't have because she does have several of recipes with stevia, which I couldn't have on my 100 day challenge. BUT, there are a lot of other great ones too. She has a nice variety, and no matter whether you choose to have stevia or not, these are amazing options without using refined/processed junk!!
- If you have a picky eater, weelicious is a great website...she has a lot of kid-friendly recipes, and I honestly have gotten my kids to try something simply by saying it was from a "kid's food website" :) . There aren't as many recipes as some of the other websites, mainly because she has a cookbook, but there are still some good ones to choose from!
- Deliciously Organic has a lot of recipes as well. If you have a sweet tooth and want to try out a whole food recipe, try THIS recipe for cookie whoopie pies. Oh. my. WORD. I frequently find myself craving these. Yes, they are that amazing...
