October 3rd was Homecoming for our school, and they involve all the kids - even the 3rd and 4th grade football team and all the cheerleaders. They had a parade and then the football game that night.
Our team's float
I snapped this picture during the parade, but I couldn't see Damaris at all...she might not even be in the picture :) :) Oh well!
That night my sister Kara and her husband Dan came up for the weekend so that they could spend some time with us and also see the kids in their game. It was COLD. It was in the 40's and trying to rain, and did rain at some points while we were out. I had lots of layers and blankets and was still cold...but thankfully I didn't get chilled, so I was thankful for that!

The cheerleaders
Titus read to play on the kick return
Half time talk with the coach (aka Stephen)
Stephen and the kids after the game
Then we braved the cold a little longer to hit up Anderson's...it made it worth it to see all the cute animals they had, and of course grab a couple doughnuts :)
Feeding the baby goats
I wish this picture had a better perspective for how tiny this goat was...he was so cute! :)
Kara feeding the birds
Titus wanted to have one land on him
But they just kept landing on Kara :)
Titus grabbed a stick with some leftover seeds on it and a couple finally landed for him...he was pretty excited about that :)
This baby zebra was ADORABLE. He/she couldn't have been more than a few days old.
They also had baby bunnies
And HUGE ones!
Kara got to hold one of the babies, too
And so did I :)
We also let the kids play in Kids Town, which is something they have been asking and asking to do
A tractor was taking the kids around in barrels
And they had pony rides
And a train!
It was also Kara's birthday, so we opened presents...
...and Dan surprised her with a My Little Pony cake :)
That evening Dan and Kara and Stephen and I went on a double date, which was fun, and something we don't normally get to do when we are with them.
It was a busy but great weekend!
