We finally had a bid on our house! We lowered the price again, but they offered us exactly what we
were asking…no haggling! The only thing is that the closing is contingent upon the sale of their house. The place they are going to try to sell is in a pretty good area, so hopefully it will sell quickly. Until then, other people can still look at our house and offer to buy it, so we really aren’t out anything even though we would have preferred something a little more solid.
This weekend is our Wesleyan Married Couples
Retreat at the district campground. We are really looking forward to some time away…especially since Michelle nursed Titus the first year, it made it very difficult to get away for long. Then we leave next Thursday for a little family vacation for a few days…which we haven’t had in over 2 years (technically 3, but I am trying to be generous). We are first camping with friends in Brown County, then stopping in to see a friend at Asbury for an hour or so, then heading down to Charleston, SC.

He has been making “driving” noises when he plays with cars and he has been randomly laughing – in the car driving, walking down the road, or sitting and playing – and seemingly at nothing. He has more teeth and chatters all the time. He copies almost everything we do, which is pretty cute. He wants to climb on everything. He can go up and down stairs safely, and brushes his hair and his teeth (well, tries to). Our favorite word that he says is "fwowr" (flower), which he has been saying for quite a while now. He loves all plants, and points them out excitedly everytime he sees one...which is a LOT when we are surrounded by trees and flowers in our neighborhood!

How fun, that picture of Stephen pulling Titus behind the mower reminds me of my dad pulling us like that on our pond when we were little. Cool pics! :)
What a cute photo with the tractor. He looks like he is having so much fun.
If you guys have any extra time while down here at Asbury, I would love to say hi. Let me know! We could introduce our little men to one another. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
How exciting about your house! We know the feeling. We will continue to pray for it to sell soon.
Hope you had a fun vacation.
Sounds like you have some exciting things coming up in the Mowat household! Have fun this weekend and I look forward to seeing you guys this next Thursday!!
Congrats on the possibility of selling the house! Hope it works out well. Time to plan your next vacation...to the Wisconsin Dells :) Miss you and praying for you and Main St.
