Easter
Here are some pictures from Easter:
Our Family at Church :)
Stephen wrote a 3 song Easter cantata/music drama, with both of us kind of directing it, a few years ago when he was the youth pastor at Bethel. We did it last year with the Main Street youth group, and this year Stephen did it with our whole drama team. We loved having the various
age groups! Stephen built this set (with volunteers of course), and I think this was the best set so far! It looked amazing, and everyone did an amazing job.
It is a really powerful skit. The first song was Nicole Nordaman " Why", which I sang. The second song was "Worthy is the Lamb" by Twila Paris that we just played the CD for. The last song was "Redeemer" by Nicole C. Mullen which a girl in our youth group sang.
When we got home from church Titus was actually in good mood, so before we put him down
for a nap and before everyone came for dinner, we had him find his Easter basket. He was so cute :) He really likes his new hat, and if we were outside I think he would have liked his sunglasses. He loves his new magnetic drawing board (his other one broke) and his coloring
crayons. He says blue and purple, but since he just learned it he still gets them confused. For dinner we had my sister, a guy from church, and friends of ours and their two kids over. We all hung out, played games, etc. It was a lot of fun.Baby Update: I had my 36 week appointment today. Dr. Swan really does not want me to continue taking my contraction medicine...which I was
hoping I could do to see if I could last a little longer. So, now I am guessing I will be really uncomfortable with a LOT more contractions. I haven't progressed at all - slightly dilated, but not enough to mention...so maybe she will stick with me a little longer. I have to keep reminding myself that it is safe for her to come now...plus it sure would be nice to not be pr
egnant any more :) Not that I am going to go run a marathon or anything :)
Now the countdown really begins...and I was kind of freaking out last night because other than Friday when I had the day off, Stephen had constant meetings last week, and this weekend we have had constant people in our house and long phone calls...and this week doesn't look like we will really be able to spend time "just the two of us" until Thursday. Don't get me wrong - I had a GREAT weekend
with family and friends, but with our new little one practically here and knowing how much our lives are going to change, I just really want to spend as much time with Stephen and Titus as possible. I even had bad dreams last night about not being able to spend time with Stephen (can you tell my "love language" is quality time :) ). I am feeling a little more stable this morning...pregnancy does weird things to my mind :) :)
(Her room is mostly ready, her bags are packed and my bags are close. It feels nice to have that out of the way - I feel more ready now :) )
