We had a great weekend away...it's a good thing we decided to come home Saturday night rather than Sunday morning...Titus got some type of stomach bug and was sick in the night. He still was feeling sick and running a fever yesterday, but this morning when I left for work he seemed to be doing much better!
Please pray for Stephen...he is (and has been) facing a lot of hard situations at church...one guy told him that after this church, his next church is going to seem easy...Stephen told him he hopes that will be a long time in the future since we both feel God is not finished with us at Main Street Wesleyan...and we are definitely not ready to give in just because things are hard. I just know Stephen is getting discouraged, and as his wife that is hard to see...thanks for your prayers!!

Michelle, you are a wonderful mother and we need your analytical mind! All mothers compare their children on some scale. I have yet to hear you comment on "Why can't you be more like your sibling" stuff, so don't worry about comparing! It is natural! Especially when they are in these early developmental years. Because I didn't know you when Titus was born, I love your comparisons. It shows me how beautiful and different God has made us and yet we all have the same designer! My kid was born 9 lbs 9 oz, 22 1/2" long! I'm told each pregnancy gets bigger... that's why I still have only one child! Titus - some encouragment... my brother was the same way. Nasty tantrums, banging his head on the floor, nasty. He broke out of it around 5 or 6. He is a worship pastor and one of the most beautiful, gentle people I know. My parents were consistent with him and it sounds like you are being consistent. If you say you are going to punish him, you MUST punish him. It took years for Bobby... but it worked. I will pray for your sanity. And my poor parents... just when they got Bobby under control, I snapped. In 5th grade, I became insubordinate and mouthy. Prior to that I had been a dream... But they were consistent and I snapped out of it last year. :)
Looks like so much fun!! Can't wait to hang out with you guys this september!
