worse this time than before, and was finally back to himself on Friday night. Whew. What a long week. One lady in our church thought maybe it was from getting his pointy teeth (I-teeth???) in. She said those were the hardest teeth for her kids...it makes sense since none of the rest of us got stomach flu, which is super contagious!A lady in our church summed up this past week fairly accurate - she said I have pretty much been a widow, and when she said it, I thought, yeah, I have been...and I have two more weeks of this! How sad...especially since my love language is quality time :(
Last night after church Stephen drove up to Michigan with Titus to help his dad re-roof a section of their house. I am sure Titus (and "gamma & papa" Mowat) is having a blast. Us girls are getting some quality time and holding down the fort here in Indiana...OK, I am working and Damaris is at the sitter's, but at least I won't get lonely at home because I won't be there very much :)
Next week is church camp...I am working during the day and going to Fairmount in the evenings. It will be fun, a nice time of spiritual renewal, and a great time camping and seeing friends...but it definitely will be tiring going back and forth! Stephen gets ordained on Sunday, and we are excited to see all the support from family and friends.
In other news, our seemingly dead pond fish have returned...weird, right? We stood out there for two days after we thought an animal ate them, and all of a sudden like 3 days later, there they were! We still have no idea where they hid, or maybe we just have magic fish :)
Then, after this excitement of finding our fish again, Saturday we wake up to our pond being completely empty of water (the rocks were even dry!). We immediately filled it up and amazingly our fish are still alive...apparently they have 9 lives in addition to them being magic fish ;)Damaris is such a smiley baby...she loves to be talked to and you hardly have to do anything to make her smile...then yesterday she laughed for the first time, which is absolutely adorable...it just makes my heart melt :) It's hard to believe she is almost 3 months...
Well, that's it...random post, but at least a new post :)
