The Inn...Kelly, Mary Sue, Emily, and Dena
Damaris came down with a cough on Friday, but no other symtoms. I thought it was just a cold like Titus and Stephen had earlier. Last night I was up with her every half hour to an hour...very congested and restless, but not really any other symptoms. Then she spiked a fever this morning to 100 degrees and was really fussy. I took her into the doctor this morning, and they did a breathing treatment and her oxygen levels were not where they wanted them so they did another treatment and it was better. They checked her for RSV and it came back negative – which is VERY good. For precautionary measures they sent her over to the hospital for a chest x-ray, but they were too backed up so I am going back this afternoon. They wrote a prescription for breathing treatments and want to see her back tomorrow afternoon to check her lungs again. If they are not where they should be, they will send her back over to the hospital for more testing. Overall things look good, but they wanted to let me know worse-case scenario, which I appreciate.
On a positive note, Damaris turned 6 months old yesterday!! Because I went into the doctor today, I actually know that she weighs just over 16 pounds. I will know more when she goes in next Wednesday for her 6 month check-up and shots. Here are pictures so you can see both kids at 6 months old :)

Great pics Michelle! Sorry to hear that Damaris is under the weather we will be praying for a quick recovery.
I'm glad that you had such a nice weekend and I hope and pray that Damaris will be ok. What a relief that it is not RSV.
Sorry your baby is not feeling well.My daughter was a preemie and was hospitalized with RSV. It is not fun stuff. I actaully wanted to make a comment about a post a while ago. While I believe that Pastors and their wives have the right(and SHOULD) read controversial books/material,(you have to know what the content is if you are going to refute it)I will NOT allow my child to read Harry Potter. Sure it's a great imaginary world, and I'm sure it is a fun read. But what about the fact that Rowling herself has stated that she hopes this book WILL spark kids interest in witchcraft? I really don't think that is something we as christians should promote. And the recent reading were she announced in front of a young audience that Dumbledor is gay?Ummm...No thanks! I think I'll pass.
