Believe it or not, we had a 5.4 earthquake this morning! Everyone was talking about it at work, and I was really upset because I missed it even though I was getting ready for work when it happened (around 5:40 our time)...did it HAVE to happen in the 5 minutes I was blow drying my hair?!?
But then I just realized that while I was in the bathroom getting ready I heard a noise and thought it was Stephen getting out of bed because one of the kids was crying or something...but he didn't get out of bed at all. So it appears I kind of missed the excitement, and kind of didn't...either way it was definitely an historic moment in my life...but then again, small things sometimes excite me :)

My mom called me this morning from NY to see if we had felt it, but amazingly, we didn't! We were just on the edge of the border where the earthquake extended to.
