The Long Lost Mowats :)

Yes, we are still alive :) I can't believe that I only posted two times in the last month! I also have not taken many pictures in the last month...sorry! I would like to believe that things are slowing down, but we are going into the holiday season, so probably not :) :)

The picture above was from our Indiana North Districts Wesleyan Married Couple's Retreat a couple weekends ago...we had a great time hanging out together away from the kids (thanks to my sister Kara who took them to Michigan with her!), with the other two couples from our church that went as well, and with couples we don't see that often. We are actually on the planning committee for the next three years (yikes!), so if you have any suggestions to make the retreat better, let us know ;)

This past weekend was homecoming at IWU...and although we really didn't see any other people there, we had fun hanging out with our friends Jonathan and Amanda, their son, Luke, who is 3 months younger than Damaris, and their dog Payton. Now Titus keeps asking for a dog for Christmas thanks to some prompting from his dad...but it didn't take much prompting because both kids LOVE pets...they ARE our children ;) We literally would have to have a house trained, fixed, kid-loving, CALM, medium-sized dog handed to us for free for me to even THINK about getting another dog - so probably not likely ;) That is definitely one area I am pretty determined to say no to right now :) :)

Luke thought he could push Titus and Damaris...both looked a little skeptical :)

So we decided to be nice and let Luke ride with the others...

Having fun at IWU Homecoming...Damaris going down the slide and Titus bouncing (he LOVED it, but thankfully was really good about getting out when it was someone else's turn)

And, last but not least, I had fun on Sunday taking pictures of the kids...normally Sundays involve me getting ready and then getting both the kids ready by myself to be to church by 8:15-8:30 AM...and no matter how early I get them up, or what I do, Sunday mornings normally involve lots of screaming, fits, and tears, but this Sunday everyone cooperated...and we were ready in record time...so I broke out the camera and was pleasantly surprised....ready? This is a once in a lifetime photo shoot here...at least by me :)

My first little cutie...he cracks us up...

My second little cutie...she just looks like mischief...

BOTH of them being silly on purpose, not prompted...not sure I could get a picture like this again...

Yes, they do love each other...most days ;)

Those photos of your kiddos are adorable! I need to try to take more photos of mine together. It is just so hard to take pictures when they are both in good moods. David is ALL energy and Grace is very strong-willed; so it makes an interesting combination.

Glad to hear that you are all doing well.

Hey, it's less than a month since the last one. You're still good in my book.

Michelle's right -- adorable. :)

Love the pictures!! I need copies of the ones with Luke since I didn't take any. :( We had SO much fun with you guys last weekend. Too bad we aren't closer than three hours apart; we could make it a weekly thing, like the good ole days. lol :)

Wow, the kids have really changed in their looks in the last month. Titus looks so grown up! They are so cute! I wish we lived closer and could get together more.

I think you have your Christmas cards done! Those pictures are fantastic. Those are the kind you run right out and get printed. Good job.
